About Miss Molly's Tearoom

Set in the historical Old Dolcoath Mine Count House, Miss Molly's Tearoom offers a home from home experience in a beautiful vintage setting.

Our menu is vast with traditional home cooked meals, snacks, homemade cakes and a daily specials board.  We understand that not everyone has the same the tastes, if you fancy something specific like your favourite pie please call us on 01209 718196 and give us some notice to prepare and we can add this onto our specials board for your visit.

 

All of our meals and cakes are prepared in house using good qaulity ingredients and are locally sourced when possible.

Our famous Sunday Roast offers our customers a choice of four meats or a homemade vegetarian nut roast.

 

Served with all the trimmings including homemade Yorkshire Puds and homemade stuffing finished with meaty or veggie gravy.

Our claim to Fame...

 

In 1782 to 1788 Rudolf Erich Raspe came to Dolcoath Mine as Master Assay.  During his time at Dolcoath Mine Rudolf wrote his very famous 'Baron Munchausen' Tales in the very home of Miss Molly's.  In 1988 his story was turmed into a famous film by Richard Gilliham starring Oliver Reed.
